Detailed Problem Description

We are seeing intermittent errors when accessing BEX query VSD_RPM01_Q001. These errors can be generated using Analysis for OLAP and Excel through the OLAP connection as well as when using BEX analyzer and Analysis for Excel with a direct connection to the query.
Please find the steps to recreate below, this was completed using Analysis Excel with a direct connection to the query, however the same can be done using Analysis for OLAP or Bex Analyzer (as mentioned above). Please have a member of your team look into this this issue and let me know if any additional information is required.

1. Parameter settings:

4. Remove all Key Figures other than Store Qty:
The below error well then trigger:

Solution Analysis and Recommendations

When executing the BEx Query VSD_RPM01_Q001 in the BEx Analyser with the same steps as mentioned above, it is observed that this issue occurs only when Non cumulative key figures such as Store Qty, Store Value & Sell Thru % are used in Drill down. SAP Note 1851921 describes this error. We need to implement the support package mentioned in the attached SAP Note to fix this issue.

Need to implement the attached SAP Note 1851921 in BW system to resolve this issue.
